JACOB REED
DISCIPLINE. HARD WORK. INTEGRITY.

MY STORY
After driving 900 miles from Denver, Colorado to Tucson, I began my journey at the University of Arizona, and haven’t looked back since. At the U of A, I’ve been presented with a multitude of opportunities, including AFROTC, the Eller College of Management, and the Navigators Ministry.
In AFROTC, I have pursued my desire to serve and protect, all while developing in the standards of integrity, service, and excellence. During my pursuit of a finance major in Eller, I have built on my understanding of teamwork, learning to be an effective collaborator through weekly team projects and presentations. Lastly, and most importantly, the Navigators has allowed me to deepen my faith in Jesus, as this is a core aspect of who I am. Overall, through AFROTC, Eller, and the Navigators, I have developed into an individual who strives to exemplify integrity, hard work, and faith in everything I do.
In my free time, I enjoy riding dirt bikes with my family, working out, playing the guitar, and spending time with friends. Additionally, one of my greatest interest is traveling, specifically outside of the United States. Over the past three years, I have had the opportunities to travel to Italy, Greece, Peru, Panama City, the San Blas Islands, and Mexico. These experiences have blessed me with priceless insight into the many extravagant cultures making up our global community. I look forward to traveling in the future, and to the possibility of an overseas station with the Air Force, where I can broaden my understanding of the world today.
